What is Computer Security Awareness Training?
Computer Security Awareness Training (CSAT) is a security awareness course designed to help users adopt secure habits and maintain a secure environment by learning to quickly identify and avoid threats, as well as the appropriate steps for threat prevention and incident reporting.
Will I get a completion certificate?
Upon successful completion of your Computer Security Awareness Training, including all levels and quizzes, you can print out a certificate for your personal use or organizational requirements.
What score do I need to pass?
The required pass/fail score for your Computer Security Awareness Training will be determined by your organization. Typically, a score between 75 and 100% is required.
What browser is required to access the course?
Computer Security Awareness Training works with the most commonly used browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer 6+ and Mozilla Firefox 1.5+.
Can I access from more than one computer?
Yes. Each course license is intended for one user only; however you can access the training from multiple machines and locations. In order to prevent abuse, we do track the IP numbers and may audit an organization that has a user account that is logging in from multiple IP addresses or indicates abnormal usage.
What Internet connection speed is required?
A broadband connection (150Kbps or faster) is recommended.

Can my entire organization use the LMS?
Yes. Our LMS allows you to add as many users your licensing allows within your organization that you want, from any physical location. As the IT Administrator of a given account (e.g. ABC LLC), you have the ability to add and assign course licenses to users within your organization.
What IT infrastructure do I need?
As a hosted turnkey learning solution, our platform requires no software or hardware to buy, install, maintain, or upgrade. Product licensing includes everything you need, so you don't need to worry about hidden IT, support and/or technology costs and your organization can immediately start learning.
How do users access the courseware?
Since our LMS is an on-demand service delivered over the web, there is no hardware or software to buy, install, or maintain. Just point your browser to your organization's custom-branded login page and enter your username and password.
What involvement is required from my organization's IT department?
Our hosted, turnkey learning solution requires no software or hardware to buy, install, maintain, or upgrade. Your organization can immediately start learning. The product licensing includes everything you need, so you don't need to worry about hidden IT, support and/or technology costs that can quickly add up to as much as ten times the original licensing fees.
How quickly can my company be up and running?
Your organization can be up and running within 2-4 business hours, depending upon when your order is confirmed and processed. A control panel is provided which allows for bulk importing users from a spreadsheet. Instructors are provided within the system.
How scalable is this solution?
Global Learning Systems offers almost limitless scalability and capacity to take on your additional users throughout the world. Built on a world-class infrastructure and delivered via a distributed web platform, our solution has been engineered to automatically scale to increased traffic, as well as support geographically dispersed users using multiple data centers located at major internet backbone providers.
What are the system requirements?
To access the training, your users simply need an active Internet connection (150Kbps or faster recommended), a web browser, and a valid login account. Our platform works with the most commonly used browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer 5+ and Mozilla Firefox 1.5+.
Is the platform reliable, secure, and confidential? Is our data safe? Where is the data hosted?
We take all reasonable precautions to keep your information safe and secure. Our state-of-the-art redundant server infrastructure is hosted and professionally managed by recognized leaders in high-end hosting, including (but not limited to) Rackspace, Amazon Web Services and Internap.
Can we install the LMS within our IT environment?
No. Our platform is only available as a hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. Our model allows your organization to immediately start learning, so product licensing includes everything you need, so you don't need to worry about hidden IT, support and/or technology costs that can quickly add up to as much as ten times the original licensing fees. We maintain the servers, the security, all the updates and improvements so you don't have to worry about anything.
Do you provide support to our end-users?
We provide unlimited Tier 1 support via email for licensed users and optional Tier 2 support over the phone for organizations that would like to upgrade their support options. The majority of email support issues are addressed within 2-4 hours of receiving it.
Can you customize the platform for our organization?
The standard version of our platform offers the same functionality and features to each organization, including the ability to add your own customer logo and branding. If your organization would like to request unique features or customization, please contact us at sales@globallearningsystems.com.
Is the LMS available in other languages besides English?
At this time the interface is only available in English; however, other languages, such as German, French and Spanish are planned in a future release.
